Farewell from Dungeon Throwers — Private Axe Throwing in Madison

When we opened Dungeon Throwers on May 1, 2025, our goal was simple: create something different. Not just axe throwing. Not just courts and targets. We built a dungeon. We created original games. We introduced Raid Bosses. We designed epic battles. We wanted every guest to feel like they were stepping into an adventure.

Over the past year, so many of you showed up. You celebrated birthdays. You hosted company parties. You brought first dates. You joined Crokinole nights. You became members. Every throw, every match, and every cheer helped make Dungeon Throwers a place unlike any other.

Now, as we prepare to close our doors on April 30, 2026, we want to thank everyone who has been part of this journey. Our family’s focus has changed and our son is beginning a two-year journey through leukemia treatment and recovery. Right now, our priority is being fully present for him. Running a business requires energy, attention, and presence, and at this stage of life our son needs those things most.

Dungeon Throwers may be closing, but the memories, the laughter, and the stories forged here will remain with us forever. If you have a gift card or have been planning a visit, we encourage you to come and throw one last time. Our final day of axe throwing will be April 25th and we would love to see all of our adventurers one more time before the doors close.
