What Happened to FlannelJax’s Madison?
FlannelJax’s served the Madison community with lumberjack-style axe throwing, but as of April 30, 2025, they’ve shut down operations and their website is no longer active. We’ve stepped in to keep the experience alive — but with our own twist.

Dungeon Throwers brings a medieval dungeon fantasy theme to axe throwing. Think dragons, dungeons, and battle-ready vibes. Whether you’re a casual thrower or a die-hard D&D fan, this is a place to channel your inner hero while hurling axes at the target.
We’ve kept what works — the lanes, the coaching, the fun — and added our own flavor.
Familiar Faces, Upgraded Space
We’re proud to share that some of the former FlannelJax’s team has stayed on with us at Dungeon Throwers. That means you’ll still see some familiar faces behind the lanes, delivering top-tier coaching and making sure everyone has a great time.
And while the space may look familiar now, we’re actively working to improve and transform it as we grow. From thematic decor to unique new game modes, we’re building something special — and you’re invited to be part of it.
